Parade of Homes Sunday May 16

Kathy Riggs May 14th, 2010

Mother’s Day has come and gone and school’s not out just yet so what is there to do on a Sunday afternoon in May?
If you are anywhere near Kinston, North Carolina you might want to visit several of the 30 homes being featured in the Sunday, May 16 Parade of Homes. If you are looking a home in Eastern North Carolina there are some great houses available in the Kinston area.
Walter Poole Realty is featuring two patio homes in the gated Butterfield community off Hardee Road and behind Vernon Park Mall; a beautifully decorated home at 1903 Hardee Road and a recently reduced home at 1805 Sedgefield Drive. These homes will be open from 1-4 p.m. The Kinston/Lenoir County Regional Board of Realtors hopes the three-hour time period will allow you to visit as many homes as possible.
This is the first Parade of Homes that has been held in a number of years. A fall Parade of Homes is planned in October and a third event early January 2011.
Although statistics are showing approximately 90 percent of homebuyers begin their house hunt on line, Sunday’s Parade of Homes is a wonderful opportunity to see the homes up close and personal. It’s also a good time to meet a REALTOR face to face and get some answers to the questions you may have about homebuying. Visit www.PooleRealtors.com to get a glimpse of the homes Poole Realtors is featuring. See you Sunday between 1 and 4 p.m.
On the Lighter Side Real estate jargon:Very quaint house with lots of potential…small, old and needs work.
